The family owned and operated Chilean based hotel group Singular Hotels are preparing to ready to open the doors on only the second hotel in their group, situated in the heart of Santiago’s cultural district, Lastarria.

Singular Hotels have reportedly invested close to $20 million in the hotel, to be known as the Singular Santiago, which will cover 6,500 square meters (70,000 square feet) and will boast a total of 62luxurious and fully equipped hotel bedrooms.

Handed the design brief were Prieto Schaffer Architects, with award-winning Chilean designer Enrique Concha handled the design features of the new hotel, which is situated in the heart of one of the most pleasant regions of the city, a protected area under the auspices Chilean National Monument Council.

The Singular Santiago has been designed to be state-of-the-art, full service hotel with the best of facilities for its guests including a French-style gourmet restaurant under the auspices of by Chefs Laurent Pasqualetto and Alvaro Romero, have focused their menu on on “high gastronomy” whilst utilizing classic French techniques in order to elevate well-known Chilean dishes making the best use of locally grown products. The restaurant and its menu have been specifically designed to cater to the palates of the discerning business travelers as well as being open to members of the public.

In addition to the restaurant the Singular Santiago also operates a friendly lobby bar serving light snacks as well, a rooftop lounge offering tremendous news of the city . For those guests who prefer to dine in their room the hotel provides round-the-clock room service.
