Long flight or short- make your fashion style simple but smart

Long flight or short- make your fashion style simple but smart

Among the greatest challenges of the business traveller is to arrive at the destination, even if it is at the other side of the world, not looking as if they had been dragged through a hedge backwards.

That means choosing the right clothes that will survive the most taxing of business journeys either by car, plane or even trains and came out the other end looking as if the journey was short and as comfortable as could be.

These days there is a lot less formality required in business attire, either en route or during the course of a business meeting, even at a relatively high level. However an experienced business traveller will never allow themselves that implied informality to degenerate into a state of sloppiness and untidiness.

Business people are always on the alert and rarely like to be caught off guard. Even if they are in the middle of the longest flight or waiting for one which has been delayed for hours in the departure lounge, you never know when you might meet a potential client or an existing one.

That’s the reason why you will never see our seasoned business traveller being the worst of wrinkle simply because they have done their research and are aware of all the latest in business-wear options.

They will have taken the trouble to discover what’s new in microfiber and blended fabrics for their suits, shirts, blazers, trousers or even their lightweight Tracksuits that are totally wrinkle-proof as well as being stain-resistant and if possible odor-repellant.

The ideal business travel fashion attire should always be lightweight and made of non-crease material which will flatten without a flaw. These articles of clothing will not only make the traveller look good, but will be light and easy to pack.

Accessories such as ties, belts and shoes should be sought out with care as they go a long way in helping to create that solid all-round impression of stability and comfort that the business traveler will want to portray.

The versatile business traveller will also have to prepare themselves for extremes of weather, meaning that they should never forget when packing a lightweight trenchcoat or a few short-sleeved shirts to be ready for any situation.
