AxisRooms announces the launch of HEX- the world’s first mobile app for hotel distribution

The challenges involved in hotel room distribution hasve always been treated as headaches for those involved in the hospitality industry for as many years as can be counted.

In recent years, considerable strides have been made in optimising the process; however, it is only now that the companies involved in developing the software necessary to implement process have considered introducing a mobile App to do the job.

Recently, the Bangalore India based software development company AxisRooms, renowned for producing efficient hotel management systems, have announced the release of what they claim to be the world’s first mobile app specifically designed to take care of hotel room distribution, which they have called HEX.

Launched only this June, HEX has been specifically designed and programmed to allow hoteliers to efficiently manage hotel room distribution in real-time, from their Smartphone.

Commenting on the launch, a spokesperson for AxisRooms explained that with the arrival of HEX hotel room distribution will soon become a much easier process than it is today.

HEX will be the first hotel distribution system to be introduced for the android mobile systems to provide greater accessibility than the traditional method used to manage hotel room distribution, and has been specifically developed to provide the hotel industry with a tool that simplify the ways of managing distribution, as well as acting as a state-of-the-art sales and contracting engine.

For the time being the AxisRooms – HEX Beta version is currently available for Android powered devices only and can already be downloaded from the Google Play Store, with plans to release both IPhone and Windows compatible versions in the very near future.
